Challenge the Network

I have been monitoring your work closely, and I am very impressed. In a short time, you have demonstrated the ability to organize and collaborate across continents, to recognize innovation in the world around you, to communicate your visions for the future, to inspire others with your passion.

And even more than that, I’m impressed with your hunger for more. You want more opportunities to tackle the problems that humanity faces. I admire that.

I have instructed my associates to post daily Network Challenges in the discussion forum. These are missions that you can undertake to earn more Power Votes and develop your EVOKE powers.

You are invited to submit your own challenges to the Network. I will select one challenge to feature each day in the Breaking News box.

Your first challenge comes from Agent Amanda Jeffrey, who has challenged the Network to make a Power Evokation.

Accept the challenges. Submit your own. Watch your EVOKE powers grow.

I’m glad that the development team is responding to the enthusiasm of the players and molding the game to fit those needs. But one of the things I’m looking to do for myself during this game is changing this enthusiam from just learning and sharing into action. Could you folks make a featured project section like the featured players section for collaborations that are created and developing on this very site? At the moment there’s a lot of talk. A lot of very good talk, but I know others have started to act, and I’d like to see those actions.

I totally agree with Joanna. For those of us who want to put our heads together in the ‘real world’ and start our projects it would be nice to have a forum to share the ideas and find ways to collaborate. I myself am looking into some interesting education and job creation projects in the Ivory Coast, where I am studying right now. It would be great to find a platform that can advance these projects in any way possible – expertise, innovative ideas, cooperation, funding etc..
    Thanks for your consideration.

Perhaps Joanna could apply to be a secret agent?

Excellent! Great ide4as and We’ll find out as the game progresses about levels, (multi-level) additional powers, unlockimg or able to upload apps like spreadsheets that are game secure, online apps that are game specific that improve coordination of our people resources. I suspect our game de4signer and alchemy have many surprises in store for us. Simply this addition here seems to suggest game parameter flexibility, unless it was pre-planned!

So how about documenting a real-life project in the blog? I know 10 weeks can be to little, but maybe posting about a start up real-life project can bring lots of feedback and suggestions from the Evoke network.

Again, thanks for adjusting the game to the gamers, very well played!!! =)

My opinion are that we should not limit our powers,
info, ect.The world is in need of solutions.iam new
on computer use but Iam very aware that many world
leaders seem to be baffled in reguard to solving the
    challenges our world faces.

    Hi
I don’t understand why? is it about me or my work? You know what , I am here to play. Please judges, don’t judge according to colour and nationality. We need fairnes and transparency. If one our judges can review the pictures of Red Facorner. They are pictures which are not relavant for anything here, but because of his colour of skin, he got the votes and no one is complaining about that. That guy is not good in a way that he can lead us. He is College meaning Low standard thinkers. I can’t be lead by Lower thinker. Look at his staff, some are outstanding and excellent, but I think so far 55% of his work is weak and lack professionalism. You my fellow friend, you are so weak to see that. I am not against, I am against all those who were complining about my Zulu pictures. The first topic was about Social Innovation, where we represent and introduce our self to people. All my pictures have been removed because of my colour and nationality. I suggest those in control to Blog me. I have a lot of input that I made here during my first two weeks, beside that they bring me down because a Black man is always under a white person. But not in South Africa, they are under a control of a Zulu President, they have no say. Zuma is uneducated because of apartheid era, but he is leading them regardless of their 12 degrees.

Two challenges, one simple, one complex.

    1) Form and Emergency Broadcast System that activates all cell phones in a given locality. If such a system had been in place during 9-11, potentially thousands of lives could have been saved by unifying communications of police, fire, EMT, first responders, and civilians.

    2) Form a Civilian Open Source Intelligence Agency. The purpose of this agency is to create an open source wiki and/or data mining program that collects open source intelligence in order to augment the work of government intelligence agencies such as the CIA, NSA, DIA, Interpol, and the like. Why? Finding actionable intelligence is a huge task, and we can’t sit back and depend upon our governments to keep us secure from the modern threat of terrorism. We need to take action, and be accountable for our own security also.

Our network will allow anyone with a computer to run a program at home called COSIA@home, similar to SETI@home in principle, which will allow computer downtime to parse data collected from open sources and begin the process of collating it into patterns and trends, which can be used to focus upon specific threats that emerge.

It is hoped that governments will take an active interest in this endeavor, so that the process of enlisting ordinary citizens in global response to terror can be initiated and accelerated. If resistance if found on the part of governments, we can do it on our own terms.

@Mick C. Malkemus good thinking to start planning what’s next, this has never been a game it is the beginning of a global connection of like-minded people and we will become one voice of many causes for the goodness in life for all. I can’t wait for UrgentEvoke2 phase where we group and collaborate and make a plan to change the world for the better.

All you project managers out there, what would be the next step? Form a team to dev high-level reqs or has Alshemy got something up a sleeve?
